Bonus: Best Animal Movies
===
[00:00:00] Hey friends. Today's bonus episode is the Best Animal Movies for Kids. My personal picks for animal themed shows and movies I've covered so far on the podcast. I know every family is different, so you can choose the ones that fit your family best. And if you want the deeper review, just go back and look up the episode number in your podcast feed. And I'll also link them in the show notes.
Welcome back to Wholesome TV Picks. I'm Jennifer, where each week I help busy parents find wholesome TV and family-friendly movies they can trust. I'm a homeschool mom of three, former child TV addict who never really grew out of it and a lifelong fan of wholesome content.
You might hear the name Family_ TV Uncovered_ and different intro music in some older episodes, and that's just what the show was called when I first started.
Ready for the list? Here we go.
Episode 22, _The Bernstein Bears_ from the two thousands: gentle, sweet, and perfect for little ones under five. Hear more about why it's a safe, relaxing pick in that [00:01:00] episode.
Episode five, _Lassie_ from the 1950s: still heartwarming after 70 years. Great for all ages and still winning over new viewers.
Episode eight, _Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron:_ beautiful animation and music. Ideal for ages six plus. I share its emotional depth and rewatch value in that episode.
Episode four: _Wild Hearts Can't be Broken:_ an inspiring true story for ages eight and up, especially horse lovers with an overall theme of determination.
Episode 23, _Andre:_ A funny touching seal story. I let my kids ages six to nine to watch, but it's a Pause and Preview Pick with more details you'll want to hear first.
Episode 25, _Cheetah:_ an Animal Adventure for ages eight and up. I also let my younger kids watch this one too.
Episode 15, _The New Lassie:_, a modern twist on a classic that's safe for all ages and keeps the heart of the original.
[00:02:00] Episode 17, _The Chipmunk Adventure:_ fun music filled eighties movie great for ages five and up with a globe trotting story kids love.
Episode 11, _Operation Dumbo Drop:_ family-friendly rescue adventure for ages eight and up. Based on an incredible true story.
These episodes might have been recorded months ago, but the picks are timeless, so don't miss them.
